Uninspired

I think it's an unfortunate truth, but facebook is killing my blog! It's hard to put energy into clever posts and pictures when in a flash I can put a mini version on facebook. Plus, is there really anyone left in the blog world who isn't on facebook? I hate being redundant. So, I need to give it a good think as to whether or not to keep my fingers dipped in both worlds...

I guess if you are a blog follower who isn't on facebook, let me know, so I can factor that into my decision on whether to keep blogging.

In the mean time, enjoy Christ this Christmas!

facebook allows me to see whats going on right that minute or day. your blog allows me to see whats really stewing. i like reading your blog. its up to you. just having a baby would probably make it hard to keep up on blogging. have you considering taking a leave of absence? if you did take a hiatus would you come back? i love reading about how Gods working and i feel like you're better able to show that in a blog post.

could you make a facebook page about this? for example, the "like pages" where people could "like" the thirys and then get updates about the blog? and what not? it might just complicate things further, but it could be a way to keep both.

I don't have facebook, so I would be very sad if you didn't blog anymore. :(

But, who are you, anonymous person? I suppose for two people, I could continue to blog... especially when one is Jenn :-) and you, anonymous person!

Hey Julie. Trish R. here. I think you should continue your blog. The problem with FB is that the info is scattered and buried. The blog gives you a story of your life. I kept a journal when the kids were younger, and also before the kids came. Those journals are precious to me. I wrote things I would never remember in a hundred years. Child rearing is a such a whirlwind process. Blogging is your journal. Something you can print and put in a book if you wanted. This blog is important. It's fun for us friends to read, but will be priceless to you when your kiddos are older. You will cherish it, and get good laughs/misty eyed when you read of your trials and tribulations. Just a thought...

Just found your blog...at least with the writing, you can cut and paste and save some time.
